    Dear Monsignor/Father/Deacon/Sister: 

    I am pleased to announce the following appointment, to be effective immediately: 

    Curial Appointment 

    Rev. John Brennan is appointed Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Kingston, in accordance with the norms of canon 475 §1 of the Code of Canon Law. 

    I would like to take this opportunity to thank Father Brennan for his generosity in accepting this important responsibility within the Archdiocese. In the short time that I have known Father Brennan, I have come to see that his solid character, good judgement, and calm and quiet demeaner will be a welcoming presence in the Chancery Office. I look forward to working more closely with him.
