World Youth Day in Particular Churches
Pope Francis has invited dioceses to celebrate World Youth Day (WYD) locally on the Solemnity of
Christ the King.
It is a desire of the Holy Father that this should
be a day for the universal Church to place young people at the
centre of our pastoral attention, to pray for them, to engage
young people and to reach out to them in a particular way as Church.
Below are some resources about WYD, the Pastoral Guidelines and Message from Pope Francis as well as suggestions for our local diocese to celebrate this day.
