Opening of the 200th Anniversary Year with Holy Mass on the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception
The theme chosen for the 200th Anniversary of the Archdiocese of Kingston, from Philippians 3:10, is “To know Christ and the power of His resurrection”. We begin our anniversary celebrations on the Patronal Feast, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, invoking Our Blessed Mother to lead us to her Son and transform us in His image. An Icon has been written to inspire our prayer and commemorate this special anniversary within the archdiocese.
Blessing of the Icon, “To know Christ and the power of His resurrection” (Phil. 3:10)
